FROM OFFICE TO COCKPIT

Belle Rappange is competing in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Benelux (PSCB) with a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport. “Back in the day, you’d dream out loud about what kind of car you’d want to drive when you grew up. I used to say that a Porsche was the most beautiful car around. Sometimes I have to pinch myself that I’m actually driving one on the circuit now.” Porsche Netherlands closely followed Rappange during a PSCB race day at Circuit Zandvoort. She candidly discusses how she started racing at a young age and gradually climbed the ranks. She also talks about how she combines racing with her demanding office job and the lessons she takes away with her when she leaves the track in the evening. “I’m really getting to know myself and learning more each time, especially at this level. You’re forced to deal with setbacks.”

This season, Rappange will take to the PSCB grid with her 500-horsepower 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport, which is finished in a red-and-white livery that pays tribute to Porsche’s rich Le Mans heritage. “When I put on my helmet, I enter a kind of zone. Once I get in the car, I become super competitive. I think, next lap, I’ll overtake you!”
