Porsche Taycan
Super sportscar and daily driver
The Taycan, Porsche’s first fully electric sports car, has two distinct personalities. It is an ideal daily driver thanks to its smooth, silent powertrain and ample space for four or five passengers. At the same time, it is a true super sports car that leaves little room for competition when it comes to speed and handling.
To emphasise this dual personality, the Dutch Porsche importer has wrapped five Taycans halfway in legendary liveries from Porsche racing cars of the past, including the pink ‘Pink Pig’ livery of the 917/20, the red ‘Salzburg’ livery of the 917K, the blue and grey ‘Martini Racing’ livery of the 917 Longtail, the ‘Vaillant’ livery of the 917/30 and the white ‘Martini Racing’ livery of the 917K, with which Gijs van Lennep claimed his first Le Mans victory in 1971.
Over the coming weeks, these special Taycans will tour the Dutch Porsche Centres, where interested visitors can experience the car’s diverse characteristics for themselves under the guidance of a Porsche instructor. Brand ambassadors José Woldring (founder and CEO of The Media Nanny) and Robert Doornbos (former F1 driver and F1 analyst at Ziggo) star in the accompanying media campaign, each showcasing what makes the Taycan a true ‘super sports car and daily driver’.
